"Leko" is a callback to our previous single "Mamarina" and features the journey of that title character. She keeps having nightmares. She is constantly battling her conscious and subconscious, a constant struggle between the realistic realm and what is unrealistic. She seeks escape but is also comfortable exploring this new cynical world. She lives and exists in it - she doesn’t thrive nor fail. In this world there is a monster - a motherlike figure guiding her. Sort of a spirit ancestor. This mentor distracts her from the world she currently exists in and keeps reminding her of the other continuum she existed in before-places she has been, and the things she has done. Mamarina needs this grounding in order to survive this new strange world
